How entertaining are internet memes

We all know of the simple internet memes like “forever alone” and “karate Kyle”, but how entertaining are they after watching at them for weeks or even years.  For those who don’t know a meme is a popular quote or picture that has been spread throughout the internet and has been made popular in the real world.  Memes are entertaining mostly when people use it to annoy others like family, friends, or people who don’t understand.  Some people do get annoyed by these memes which asks us “are internet memes really entertaining?”

Now the good things about memes are that for one they aren’t that bad most memes are for kids so that it will not hurt anyone unless if the person is a sensitive type.  They don’t really target a pacific race or religion so memes don’t cause much controversy.  Some of the cons about memes are that some people might not understand what they mean so the joke might be ruined if you have to explain what the meme means, another thing is that there are some memes that are just plain stupid so that also ruins the joke if the person doesn’t find the meme as entertaining as you think it is.  Most memes are based on people’s emotions towards the meme you send which could be either way like either a friendly giggle or a punch in the face.

Internet memes will be around for many years to make fun of or laugh at other people’s expense and we will continue to spread them around to others whenever we get the chance to, but if you’re going to send a meme to someone as a joke ask yourself these things first, “will he be mad at my meme” and “will he think it’s funny”, if one is no then you know that the meme will not be entertaining.
