Making People Happy with Ouran High School Host Club

Ladies, do you wish that you could watch a show about cute guys making women happy? Guys, do you wish you could watch a romantic comedy that is actually funny and not some revolting chick flick? Ouran High School Host Club may just be the cure to all of your needs.

The story begins with Haruhi Fujioka, a commoner who receives a scholarship to Ouran Academy, a high school for the wealthy and famous. Haruhi walks into a music room that is no longer in use only to find out that the Host Club resides there. The Host Club is a group of gentlemen whose mission is to make every young lady happy. There are several types that a woman can select for her romantic fantasy. There’s Mori-sempai, the silent and strong type; Hunny-sempai, the cute little boy type; Karou and Hikaru the little devil type; Kyoya, the cool type and Tamaki, the princely type.

Haruhi, then later accidently bumps into a vase which then breaks, so he now owes the Host Club over eight million yen. In order to make up for the payment, he must join the Host Club and pay off his debt by entertaining the young ladies by being the natural type. As great as he is as a host, the other club members notice that there is something off about Haruhi, like the fact that he is actually a girl. The entire series is jam packed full of romantic scenes, comical acts that will leave you gasping for air, and scenes so cute it will overwhelm you.  Overall Otaku rating…I give it a 5/5
