Kamiakins recent match against Eastmont came to a disappointing lost by 52 to 12. As much as an upset this was for the guys the team is still keeping their heads up and waiting for their next encounter with the Eastmont wildcats to show them what us braves can do. This wrestling team has been getting stronger as a team and also as individuals. Most of the guys are aiming high to get to state, but they need support to do it even Urbano pina said “Come to our match and you won’t be disappointed”. Even the coaches are really trying their best and are doing a great job of it say “We will fall as a team, but we will rise as a team as well”. Other schools are underestimating our numbers because we hardly have any but that doesn’t get the wrestlers down, it makes them work harder for that pin or the win. Even the freshman’s are dedicating a lot of time into being part of the team. As wrestling isn’t an easy sport, coming out and getting bruises and injury’s but they overcome them because they have the strength of a wrestler. At tournaments they have went to, they have pulled out to be on top with the other schools of Tri-Cities. As students of Kamiakin you should go and support as much as possible and cheer on the wrestling team because they need it to gain more confidence so they can reach the high goals they have. Be a Brave and go support our wrestlers because they would love all the support us Braves have to offer.
