The high pressure system that has held cold, stagnant air in place here in the Tri-Cities for the past two and a half weeks looks like it will be on its way out soon. A low pressure system is forecasted to start impacting the Pacific Northwest on Wednesday evening bringing a 40 percent chance of snow showers Thursday. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid 30s for highs with lows in the 20s.
