With deep lyrics and sensational instrumentals throughout the years, Breaking Benjamin is a modern-rock band that delivers consistent hit songs with every album.

Breaking Benjamin was founded at the turn of the century in 1999 by lead vocalist Benjamin Burley. “Saturate”, their first album, introduced them to the music scene as a prominent prospect. However, it wasn’t until two years later that they released “We Are Not Alone”, their first album to go platinum.

Some notable key songs from the various albums are Saturate’s “Polyamorous” (2002), We Are Not Alone’s “So Cold” (2004), Phobia’s “Diary of Jane” (2006), and Dear Agony’s “I Will Not Bow” (2009). Their newest album, Dark Before Dawn (2015), has received the praise of critics for sticking to their classic hooky jams.

One thing of interest to all of the Xbox gamers out there is that Breaking Benjamin’s single from the So Cold EP, “Blow Me Away”, is featured in the classic game Halo 2, as well as the soundtrack.

Mark your calendars: A lineup featuring Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, and opener Nothing More are taking the Toyota Center in Kennewick by storm Oct 27. The show is on a Tuesday night starting at 7:00 P.M. Tickets are still available for both reserved seats and general admission standing floor. Prices range from $50-60 after taxes through Ticketmaster or their online outlets.
