The boys’ basketball team had an exceptional winter break. During the break they won four out of the five games they played.

The girls’ basketball team won all three of their games during winter break.

The first game for both teams was against Kennewick High School on Dec. 16. The final score for the girls’ game was 67 to 43. The boys’ final score was 70 to 40.

The second game was on Dec. 19 against Walla Walla. The girls finished with a score of 69 to 47. The boys finished 54 to 45.

The final game for the girls was on Dec. 21 against the Chiawana River Hawks. When the girls’ game finished the score was 64 to 58. The guys ended 54 to 40.

The guys’ team then played against Bellinghamn on Dec. 28. The Braves were victorious with a score of 58 to 49.

The boys’ basketball team played their last game of the winter break against Prairie on Dec. 29. Unlike other games, the boys’ team was defeated with a final score of 49 to 55.

Currently the standings in the conference for the boys’ team is four wins and zero losses, which ties them in first place with Richland High School. The girls’ team has a record of four wins and zero losses which puts them at the top of the conference.

The overall record for the boys’ team is seven wins and three losses, which ties Kamiakin, Hanford, and Walla Walla for second place under Richland. The girls’ record is nine wins and one loss which places them at first.
